Happy Arbor Day. One of my favorite books, is bittersweet to read. "The Giving Tree", by Shel Silverstein. When I see a tree stump, I always think, "and the tree was happy". The book, if you haven't read it, is a story of a boy and a tree that love each other, and over time, what the tree gives to make the boy happy. Of course the boy is never happy.
