Yesterday we went back in time to Silverton, Colorado. There's an old time saloon, a stagecoach and lots of small town charm. Even the benches along the sidewalks are noteworthy. We expected, any minute, to see a band of cowboys come tearing down the dusty streets on horseback.
We ate at Handlebars Restaurant and this fellow hopped above our table.
The place is famous for their delicious hamburgers, elk burgers and buffalo burgers. I had a veggie burger, and although I had heard nothing about it, found it was the best veggie burger I have ever eaten. I will try and spread the word, so the charmer above the table gets some vegetable competition.
