My baby girl (13) got braces yesterday. It was exciting and bittersweet. She is so excited that one day soon she will no longer have an overbite, but her teeth have been aching and sore. It's bittersweet for me because she is in pain, she's growing up and she is being so responsible and mature.
Where did my baby go? In that sweet little baby's place, is this charming, smart and beautiful young lady.
