watercolors

I work with acrylics 99% of the time. The 1% of my time that is left, is used for watercolors. I am often frustrated with my lack of talent with watercolors, as they require a certain sensitivity and finesse. I have included some samples of my watercolors. I will continue to practice with these paints, and hope to one day feel more comfortable using them.

I never use oils, and it's my goal to try them soon. I never was very happy with the idea of a medium you have to wait for. I love the instant gratification of acrylics and have a hard time giving up that lovely feeling. Do you have a favorite kind of paint? If you don't paint yourself, is there a medium that you find yourself responding to more than others?
